1 The International Business Council of Rochester, NY ( IBC ) will award a $1, scholarship to an institution of higher learning that exhibits an outstanding Study Abroad Program. ELIGIBILITY Applicants must be a US Citizen enrolled in a full-time course of study in a baccalaureate program at an accredited College or University in the greater Rochester and nine-county region. Applicants must have a cumulative minimum average of 3.0 out of 4.0 to be eligible. Applicants must have financial need Must be able to provide a presentation to the IBC Board upon return from study abroad Funds will be sent directly to the institution to be applied directly to funding of selected student The College/University winner will be notified by May 1st and will be highlighted at the Upstate New York Trade Conference Banquet on May 13th, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Rochester. High school seniors and students who have completed less than one full quarter of post secondary education must include a high school transcript of grades. _ REFERENCES: Please, provide two (2) endorsements / references from a non-family member - teacher, professor, supervisor, counselor - in support of your request for this award.
