10 Reviewing Section 1 Section 1 Scholarships at two parts: Category A and Category B For #1 and #2, complete the Town of Hanover application located in Naviance. Students will check off on the application the scholarships they would like to be considered for. For #3-30, complete the Hanover Permanent Scholarship application. Students will check off on the application the scholarships they would like to be considered for.

11 Section II: Individual Applications Required A full list of individual scholarships including their description and eligibility requirements is located in the scholarship booklet on click high school and then guidance Separate applications are required for most scholarships in this section. These applications can be found in Naviance. Read guidelines and criteria carefully. Students should mail the scholarship application directly to the scholarship committee.

12 Where Do I Get the Scholarship Applications? Applications for Section 1 and Section 2 are available on Naviance Log on to Click the Colleges Tab Scroll down and click on Scholarship List Click on the scholarship you are eligible for Download and print the application MAKE SURE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATIONS BY THE DUE DATE LISTED

14 Click on the scholarship you would like to apply for.

15 Click download to get a copy of the application. Once the file opens, click print!

16 How Do I Request a Transcript for Local and National Scholarships? Log on to your Naviance account at Click the Colleges tab Click Transcripts located under Resources Click Request transcripts for scholarships or athletics Enter in the name and address of the scholarship as it is listed in the application. If you are applying to the Ahearn or Hammond Scholarships (#1 and #2), request your transcript to go to the Town of Hanover as that is how it is listed on the application. If you are requesting a transcript for scholarships #3-#30, request your transcript to go to the Hanover Permanent Scholarship Fund, as listed on the application. If you are requesting a transcript for section 2 scholarships (#31-#63), you will need to request a transcript for each individual scholarship.

19 Enter in the scholarship information here and click Request Transcript

20 So Wait What Do I Have To Do? Print the scholarship booklet from Read the requirements, criteria and descriptions of each scholarship. Use the checklist to keep you organized. Choose the scholarships you are going to apply to Download and print the applications from Naviance Fill out the applications and include your required documents. Mail the applications to the correct addresses listed in the scholarship booklet Request your transcript/recommendations on Naviance And of course- ASK your guidance counselor if you have questions!

21 Section III There are no applications for section III as all students are considered Students completed a survey during their English classes via google to provide the committee details on specifics and eligibility.

22 IMPORTANT DEADLINES Check the individual scholarship deadlines. Most scholarship applications need to be postmarked and sent to the scholarship committees by April 8, 2016 The guidance office must receive ALL transcript request NO LATER THAN April 1, 2016
