Largest volunteer Service Organisation in the World 1.2 Million Members Worldwide with Clubs in 200 countries Motto is Service Above Self Call to Action since 1985 to eradicate Polio from the world in partnership Only NGO that has Permanent Representation in the United Nations and Status A1 Partnerships with UNICEF and UN In South Africa approx Rotarians, 230 clubs, 3 districts nationally

6 WHAT IS RFHA? RFHA: ROTARIANS FOR FAMILY HEALTH AND AIDS PREVENTION Rotary Action Group recognized by Rotary International. Members are all Rotarians from across the world. RFHA is an independent NPO with global headquarters in Atlanta, GA, USA. It is governed by fourteen trustees, including Rotarian leaders from four continents, and managed by a CEO in close association with global partners and established Country Teams in seven African countries Mobilizing partner for Rotary International on largest Disease Prevention programme after Polio The Rotary Family Health Days Programme is a Pan African and Indian initiative with further expansion planned

An immense and impactful, Rotary-led nationwide health campaign held over three days in multiple African countries and India Provides comprehensive free health care and screening services to citizens at selected sites rural, urban and informal identified by partners Delivered through a Public/Private Partnership programme

To bring core services to each site as agreed upon Ensure RFHD message in passed through structures so all colleagues are well informed Work closely with Rotarians to identify relevant sites Work together with partners to create successful sites Assist with the mobilization process Collection of data on specifically designed RFHD templates at each site in collaboration with Rotarians Training and regular planning meetings with local relevant Rotarians and Rotary leaders

45 She Conquers Campaign The objectives of the Campaign are to: 1. Decrease new HIV infections in girls and young women. 2. Decrease teenage pregnancies, in particular to decrease the number of deliveries in girls less than 18 years of age. 3. Keep girls in school until matric, and increase the retention of adolescent girls and young women in school. 4. Decrease sexual and gender based violence amongst adolescent girls and young women. 5. Increase economic opportunities for young people, particularly for young women
