1 Friday, May 14, 2010 The Scholarship Committee consisting of Tracey Wheeler, Missy Malechek and Cindy Harreld met on Friday, May 14, 2010 to determine scholarship recipients. Fourteen scholarship applications were submitted with five of them being for TCCE Annual Conference and nine being for Institute. The committee had $3,000 to work with and determined that GCCE would give two scholarships in the amount of $265 (registration) and four Institute scholarships in the amount of $600. 2 Friday, May 14, 2011 The Scholarship Committee consisting of Tracey Wheeler, Missy Malechek, Colleen Hicks and Cindy Harreld met on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 to determine scholarship recipients. Fourteen scholarship applications were submitted with seven of them being for TCCE Annual Conference and seven being for Institute. The committee made two decisions early in the process 1) That we would not give scholarships to more than one person in a chamber and 2) That we would not give a scholarship to someone who received a scholarship last year. These exceptions ruled out three of the applicants for TCCE Conference and one for Institute. The committee had $6,500 to work with and determined that GCCE would give four scholarships in the amount of $275 (TCCE registration) and four Institute scholarships in the amount of $1295 each (full registration). 4 Friday, May 24, 2013 The Scholarship Committee consisting of Tracey Wheeler, Colleen Hicks and Page Michel reviewed eight scholarship applications to determine scholarship recipients. Of the eight applications submitted two of them were for TCCE Annual Conference and six for Institute. The critieria includes 1) That we would not give scholarships to more than one person in a chamber and 2) That we would not give a scholarship to someone who received the same scholarship last year. The committee had $7,000 to work with and determined that GCCE every person who applied scholarships in the amount of $325 (TCCE registration) and $1,000 Institute scholarships. The total comes to $6,650. Of the fifteen applications submitted seven of them were for TCCE Annual Conference, one for Chamber Excellence and seven for Institute. The critieria includes 1) That we would not give scholarships to more than one person in a chamber and 2) That we would not give a scholarship to someone who received the same scholarship last year. The committee had $7,000 to $8,000 to work with and determined that GCCE would give scholarships in the amount of $300 (TCCE registration), $400 for Center for Chamber Excellence and $1,000 Institute scholarships.
