Please give this packet the widest dissemination. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a public service organization comprised of mostly minority (African-American) women. Last year Germany Alumnae Chapter awarded over $20,000 in scholarships to deserving DODDS students. Application must be RECEIVED by February 17, INCOMPLETE OR LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. FAXED COPIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. HAND DELIVERED APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Scholarship will be applicable: APPLICATION - General Instructions Applicant must be a graduating Senior at a DoDDS High School located in Germany Application packet must be complete and typed Application must be RECEIVED BY by the deadline: February 17, 2016 If awarded a scholarship Applicant must be present at the award ceremony to accept his/her scholarship award. THE APPLICATION PACKET SHOULD INCLUDE: 1. The two-page Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Application 2. Personal Data Sheet (Extra-curricular & Community Activities/Awards & Honors) 3. An Official High School Transcript which includes first semester grades of the Senior year (must be signed by an official authority) 4. Two Letters of Recommendation (*1 Teacher or Administrator; AND *1 Community Service or Work Experience) Please note* ONLY one from each category. 5. ESSAY - One type written page, double-spaced.
