1 Rising Star High School Senior Scholarship Application For any questions please contact your Admissions Representative Scholarship overview The Ogle Rising Star Scholarship Program looks to award chosen full time Cosmetology/Esthetics candidates that have assembled solid interest and passion in making the world around them beautiful. Rising Star Award Initial Eligibility Criteria $1, scholarships that will be awarded based upon strong community leadership and an exhibited passion for the beauty industry. Initial eligibility requirements are as follows: Open to current year high school graduates Awarded based on enrolled start date (Refer to your Admissions Representative regarding application due date) Have met all Ogle School Admissions Requirements

2 Scholarship Application Process Applicants must complete the scholarship application to be considered for the Ogle Scholarship Program. All applications and required documentation must be submitted to the Admissions Department at the intended campus of attendance and received no later than the stated application due date. Scholarship finalist may also be required to interview on campus with a member(s) of the selection committee. An application for admissions must be submitted prior to the scholarship award consideration. Scholarship application packet must consist of the following: Fully completed Ogle Scholarship Program Application o Application includes community service profile Letters of Recommendation o Letter of recommendation from an organizational, community leader, teacher, counselor or school administrator Letters of recommendation should be submitted along with application packet in a separate sealed envelope Letters of recommendation must be from non related individuals (teacher/counselor/administrator Applicant Essay (2 part minimum 200 words) o Why the beauty industry o Select one of the following values. Describe what this value means to you and how you exhibit it in your daily life Teamwork Integrity Respect Excellence Service to the customer *Any application or other supporting scholarship documentation received after application due date will not be presented to the selection committee and will not be used in the selection process.*
