Ben Hill-Tout Memorial Fund: a prize to be given periodically from this fund, established by family and friends as a memorial to Ben Hill-Tout; the prize to be awarded in competitive exhibitions of photographic art at the University. Carnegie Corporation of New York: two annual scholarships of $500 each for five years, one in French and the other in History, for graduates working in the French Canada field. 13

Crown Zellerbach Canada Limited: (a) five annual scholarships, each of $400 a year for five years, for students entering the University of B.C. from Grade XII with a view to training for the teaching profession; available for students in the areas of Campbell River, Courtenay, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, and Ocean Falls.
