1 February 12, 2019 Dear Applicant: The Knights of Columbus Council are excited about your interest in our scholarship. Our scholarships are to encourage enrollment in Catholic High Schools and to help defray the costs of a college education. The scholarships will be awarded to someone who has shown a balance of good character, service and academics. Council will award three $1, scholarships in Two scholarships will go to two 8 th Grade students who are members of St Francis of Assisi Parish, and will be attending Dowling Catholic High School the fall of The second will be awarded to a St Francis of Assisi Parish member that is a high school senior going to any college or university.
