2 Barrington High School Junior Isabella Solanot, sophomore Shannon Duffy, and freshman Lindsay Daugherty are winners of the Atlantic Cup s Ripple Effect Contest. Their film premiered at the newportfilm/atlantic Cup event Shipyard Shorts on May 22. Students also had the opportunity to be an on board media crew member for one of the days of the inshore racing in Newport for the Atlantic Cup.

8 Director of Curriculum and Instruction Paula Dillon was mentioned in a recent blog post titled Smart Cities by Tom Vander Ark about the Third Annual Blended Learning and Technology Conference held on May 3. Mrs. Dillon was a speaker at the conference.
9 On March 12 th, 114 Barrington High School students participated in the National Latin Exam. Of the 114 students, 73 scored above the national average; 10 had a perfect score. Seniors William Klimpert and Emma Margulies also earned gold medals for four years in Latin.
