Students who qualify will be awarded full tuition for their four years at PLU through a combination of federal, state, PLU grants and scholarships, and the College Bound Scholarship. The winning student must intend to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields with a preference for space-related interests, be academically strong and excel in public speaking. Preference will be given to underrepresented and/or first-generation college students. Award: $500, certificate, & plaque Eligibility: All incoming first-year students at Wesleyan. In addition to a completed application for admission to Wesleyan, Hamilton Prize applicants must submit a single submission of an original work of creative written expression.
