2 University of Michigan Club of Greater Michigan o Eligibility Criteria: Act minimum score of 31, SAT min. score of 2100, or top 1% of graduating class. o Deadline: January 11, 2013 Prestige Full Tuition Scholarship Siena Heights University o Eligibility: applicants must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher and a minimum ACT composite of 27 or higher (SAT verbal plus math of 1210 or higher); other factors that may be considered when choosing candidates are whether the student has IB, AP, or other honors coursework completed o Renewal: students can renew for an additional three years if they maintain a 3.5 GPA at Siena and full time enrollment on the Adrian Campus o Essay needs to be submitted (Requirements listed in the Counselor s office) in a word essay o Students must have all of the following completed an submitted by January 15, 2013 to: Office of Admissions -Siena Heights University E. 3 o Dates Due: January 19, 2013 January 27, 2013 February 16, 2013 February 17, 2013 Concordia University Merit Scholarship o Merit Scholarship day on Saturday, February 02, 2013 o Students who compete will have an opportunity to win a Presidential Scholarship- a full four year, full tuition scholarship and may also receive additional merit scholarship money o Winner will demonstrate servant leadership and academic leadership skills; skills that will actively be put into action during your college career at Concordia o Meet or exceed the requirements of a 24 ACT (or 1090 SAT combined Critical Reading and Math), and a 3.5 cumulative GPA o Must be registered by January 25, 2013 Saint Michael s College o $20,000 Scholarship to Saint Michael s College o Due: February 1, 2013 NFL ALUMNI CHAPTER

4 o Supports two $2, 500 scholarships, one for a male high school student athlete and one for a female high school student athlete o High school student athletes who will not obtain an athletic scholarship to compete in athletics at the collegiate level are eligible o $2, 500 for each selected winner will be sent directly to the recipient s college or university o Deadline is no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, February 08, 2013 Livonia Optimist Club Essay and Oratorical Contests o Winners of each respective Livonia Optimist Club even will be awarded a scholarship for $500 o Only 11 th and 12 th grade students born prior to January 01, 1994 o Event held on Saturday morning, February 09, 203 at 9:00am at the Davenport University campus in Livonia (19499 Victor Parkway) o Deadline for submission of materials for the essay contest is February 04, 2013 o Deadline for submission of applications no later than February 01, 2013 Academic Merit Scholarship for Oakland University o for Fall 2013 College Freshmen

5 o please refer to the flyer in the counselors office for the various scholarships o Oakland University must receive your application, transcript, and ACT score by March 31, 2013 AMERICAL LEGION AUXILIARY, DEPARTMENT OF MICHIGAN o Medical Career Scholarship o Applications available at o Scholarships shall be for training men and women for medical careers o Eligibility: Candidates shall be daughters, granddaughters, greatgranddaughters, or step of the afore mentions, of honorably discharged or deceased women or men veterans of WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam Hostilities, Grenada and Lebanon Hostilities, Panama Hostilities, and Persian Gulf o Scholarships shall be in the amount of $ and for one year only o The $ grant is to apply toward the expense of tuition, room, and board fees, books and supplies necessary for pursuit of study at any school, college, or other education institution in the State of Michigan o Applicants should be in the top quarter of their class o Scholarships must be used in a school in Michigan

If not applicable, please indicate so with N/A o Incomplete applications will be automatically eliminated o Winners will be notified following judging of scholarship prior to May 15, 2013 o Please refer to the scholarship information in the Counselor s office o Due May 15, 2013 Stefan Wanczyk Foundation o $2,000 Scholarship o GPA 2.5 or higher o Due: May 31, 2013 Big Sun Scholarship o All student athletes are eligible for this award regardless of which sport they re participated in o Amount of award: $ o The successful applicant be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community o Deadline: June 21, 2013 Athletic Scholarship
