4 Burger King Scholarship: Due In December For high school seniors and Burger King employees who have a cumulative GPA of 73% and higher and plan to enroll full-time for the academic year at an accredited 2- or 4- year school are encouraged to apply by visiting The application deadline is December 15, AXA Achievement Scholarship: Seniors who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community, or the workplace and plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college in the fall are eligible. Foot Locker Scholar Athlete Requirements: HS Senior; entering college/university in Fall 2017, 2016 member on a high school sports team or after school sports team, un-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher; US Citizen or permanent resident; cannot be an employee of or have a parent/guardian who is an employee of Foot Locker: Deadline: December 16 Imagine America Scholarship Requirements: HS Senior, 2.5 GPA or higher, financial need, volunteer service during senior year; application process and selection by high school and selected college (not all colleges). Deadline: Dec. 31 Scholarship Detective To celebrate their launch, they are awarding two $1,000 college scholarships. Scholarship Application opens January 1. To prepare, start your MyHSF Profile today: Mensa Education and Research Foundation Scholarships Applicants do not have to be Mensa members. They must enroll in a degree program in an accredited US institution of higher learning and submit an application and essay explaining their career, academic and/or vocational goals. Information can be found at the website: C4B DA2&grp=900&part=y Deadline: January 15 Healthcare Leaders Scholarship This scholarship is applicable to any student pursuing an educational program in nursing or medical field. Must be 17 years+ and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. All applicants must submit a word essay explaining what they hope to accomplish during their career in the medical field and how the scholarship would fulfill those goals. Finalists will be notified in February and must provide proof of enrollment and GPA (letters of acceptance, transcripts, etc.) before the scholarship recipient is selected. Deadline January 29 Ge-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program Each year, the Program selects numerous recipients to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years up to $40,000 total per recipient. Awards are for undergraduate study and may be used for education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, room, and board. In addition, Scholars are invited to participate in a special awards program. Deadline: Carson Scholarship Requirements: Students in grades 4-11; community service; GPA; nomination (one per school due by December 21, 2016) The Carson Scholars Fund awards $1,000 college scholarships to students in grades 4 through 11 who excel academically and are dedicated to serving their communities. Students must attend an accredited K-12 school in the United States. Deadline: December 21 5

The program targets lowincome students who have at least a 2.4 GPA and also can demonstrate that they are driven and motivated. Contact: apply@dellscholars.org Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarships Students need to live within a reasonable proximity to a Ronald McDonald House, be under 21 years of age, and have at least a 2.7 GPA. The national scholarships are 100,000 wards payable up to four years in an amount of 25,000 per year and are for use in undergraduate education only. Deadline: January 18 Buick Achievers Scholarship The GM Foundation proudly sponsors the Buick Achievers Scholarship program. The program targets well rounded students who have an interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Contact: buickachievers@scholarshipsamerica.org Mediacom Communications Applications for this scholarship must live in the areas serviced by Mediacom. A list of all towns is listed on the application, which is available on their website. Deadline: February 17 FIDM Scholarship This scholarship is for students interested in industries such as Fashion, Visual Arts, Graphics, Interior Design, and Entertainment and plan to attend FIDM. In the degree programs at FIDM, students learn the creative and business skills needed to succeed in the industries they serve. Kennedy Library Foundation invites high school students to write an essay on an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after First place winner will receive $20,000.
