Selection will be based on participation in extra-curricular activities, community involvement, work history and grades. All scholarship funds will be disbursed through the Canadian Education Foundation. The student or students, must present proof of enrollment to the treasurer of the Canadian Education Foundation each semester. Kirk managed the pro shop for the Canadian Golf Club as well as working with his family's insurance business. Kirk was the single father of M.T. and Ty Morrow and a father figure to many in the community.

The recipient will be chosen by the family. All scholarship funds will be disbursed through the Canadian Education Foundation. The student or students, must present proof of enrollment to the treasurer of the Canadian Education Foundation each semester. The scholarship will be divided equally into two semesters for each recipient or recipients not to exceed one academic year. The funds will be directly issued to the recipient upon proof of enrollment. GPA Requirement: 2.5 Announcement will be made at graduation. Other Information: This scholarship is given in loving memory of Eddie Meek by his family and friends. Eddie was a 1992 graduate of Canadian High School. Eligible students will be any student graduating from Canadian High School in the current year. Past Fry Scholarship recipients are also eligible to compete each year for an additional three years of college, if they continue their commitments and studies. Only one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year from this eligibility pool. This scholarship also not based on popularity or lack thereof, but treatment of other people. Though her grades weren t always as high as she wished to achieve, they were what she was able to do.
