Requirements to be met prior to joining the Nursing Program: ADN to BSN "Summer Bridge": Current enrollment in a BRN approved pre-licensure Associate degree of Nursing program. Earn at least a 2.50 GPA in Pre-Nursing Core courses with no grade lower than a C. Become GE certified. RN to BSN programs: Have or be eligible to acquire a valid California RN license. Be a graduate of a BRN approved pre-licensure Associate degree in Nursing program from an accredited educational institution. Earn at least a 2.50 GPA in Pre-Nursing Core courses with no grade lower than a C. Become GE certified. Applying to the Nursing Program Step I: Complete all Nursing Major Prerequisite Courses Complete all nursing major prerequisite courses or their equivalents with a grade of C or better by the end of the spring term prior to summer admission. Summer coursework will not be accepted as in progress work.
