2 Security: Pupils and Staff A register is kept daily of pupils attending the Enrichment club. Arrangements are in place for the safety of pupils between finishing and the club starting. All children are collected from their classrooms. Site supervisor to man gate and is locked between certain times. Information relating to pupils Pupils Suitable arrangements are in place for the Enrichment club staff to receive adequate information from parents/ relating to the pupils attending the club i.e pupil medical, dietary, behaviour or other special needs. Enrichment Lead to update every Half-Term as standard. All reply slips are kept in a secure locked cabinet in the main office. Medical Information is clear on Enrichment registers and is also displayed in classrooms and staffroom. Parents provide formal consent for their child to attend the Enrichment club. Year 5 and 6 walk home alone pupils have clear consent from parents this is indicated on registers and also School office have list which is kept on SIMS. Fire/Lock down Pupils and staff The existing fire risk assessment is taken into account for the Enrichment Club. All Enrichment staff are familiar with the fire/lock down procedures. Fire drills/lock down are conducted with the staff and pupils who attend. Registers/Fire registers are updated at the start of each session. First Aid Pupils and staff There are adequate numbers of staff in during Enrichment who are First aid trained. There are sufficient numbers of First Aid kits available. All Asthma pumps Epi pens are easily accessible. There is a policy for administrating medicines. This includes parent consent, trained staff to administer medicines and a rebust recording system. Staff update training every 3 years and also refresher courses. Main office has telephone in case of Emergency alert office staff and call of 5
