2 Friday 04/13/2018 Union Square 124 East Gate City Blvd Greensboro, NC Registration: 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM Program: 9:00 AM 3:30 PM Target Audience Representatives from health care disciplines in public and private institutions of higher learning and healthcare agencies, including the Consortium for Clinical Education and Practice (CCEP) partners from across North Carolina. Purpose This continuing education program is for educators and practice partners to examine current models of assuring clinical faculty competence based on national standards and best practice. Program Outcomes Describe and showcase the statewide Consortiums current work. Focus on clinical judgment/clinical reasoning to review successful inter-professional collaboration in the clinical setting. Present examples of two important areas for faculty competency: Electronic Health Records (EHR) and English as a Learned Language (ELL)/ English as a Second Language (ESL). Provide panel discussions regarding models for clinical education and clinical faculty competency measurement.
