2 Administrative - Master Syllabus I. Topical Outline Each offering of this course must include the following topics (be sure to include information regarding lab, practicum, clinical or other non lecture instruction): Treating mental health alterations; the client who is experiencing an anxiety disorder; the client who is experiencing a mood disorder; the client who is experiencing a personality disorder; the client who is experiencing schizophrenia and/or hallucinations; the client who is experiencing a somatoform disorder; special considerations: abuse and neglect, domestic violence, rape, substance abuse, suicidal ideation; the client who is experiencing an eating disorder; the client who is experiencing a disassociative disorder; the impaired nurse. II. Course Requirements/Grading System Describe any course specific requirements such as research papers or reading assignments and the generalized grading format for the course Unit Tests will count as 75% of the final grade. Final Test will count as 25% of the final grade.unit exams missed due to absence or tardiness will be taken upon return to class. Arrangements for late testing must be initiated by the student.
