A highlight of our time together was welcoming the new RAA Panama-Chapter with Drs. Yolanda Gonzalez, President and Cleopatra Allen, Secretary present to accept their charter. This is an important time for this new chapter as simultaneously they opened the first PhD Program in Nursing in Panama this year. Executive Board Member Dr. Martha V. Whetsell attended the festivities and Sr. Callista Roy sent a video of greetings and congratulations. This issue also includes the call for abstracts for the 2012 Workshops and Conference to be hosted at the Doheny Campus of Mount St. Mary s College. The College President will host a reception in the ballroom of the mansion in the heart of the campus (pictured at left) for all participants. continued on page 5
