Job Description Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a full time Physician Assistant. The new PA will work directly with a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position will include both the OR and the clinic. This Doctor has a very successful and growing joints practice and handles some general orthopaedic cases. Responsibilities include: first assist, H&P s, write scripts, coordinate with PT/OT, consultation, rounding, event coverage and discharge summaries. They are located in a modern facility and have their own PT/OT onsite. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred, but will train a new graduate with an orthopaedic rotation. The location is within 15 minutes of New London. Salary range is based on experience level and includes an incentive. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided. Job Description Specialty Group of Orthopaedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The PA will directly work with a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position includes both the OR (first assist) and clinic. The PA will run their own clinic (one day a week). Major case load includes total hips (and revisions), knees and shoulders. Responsibilities include: First assists (total joints) Initial evaluations Joint aspiration and injections Pre-op and post-op H&P s Write scripts and fracture management Rounding Coordinate with Physical Therapist Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT Scan and MRI Run clinics Augusta, GA is a river town that has a population over 200k. Job Specialty Group of Orthopaedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time Description Physician Assistant. The new PA will directly support a very wellrespected Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Total Joint specialty. This position is a combination of clinic and surgical first assist. Responsibilities include: pre and post-operative H&P s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. There are no weekends. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified, highly motivated, hard working and work well in a team-oriented environment. The group prefers experience, but will train a new graduate that has a strong desire for orthopaedics. Also, the group prefers local candidates with ties to the area or to the east coast. The location is in the Northern NJ area (25 minutes to the George Washington Bridge) which offers easy access to culture, arts, great restaurants, and universities!
