3 CLOTH STERILIZATION From 2014, Urguu maternity hospital started using steam disinfectant chamber Contracted with Ajin-Ujin LLC and regularly provided by ozone disinfection method Contracted with Ajin-Ujin LLC and regularly provided by ozone disinfection method Maternity hospitals units have after exposure complex and records are done urgently. Cleaning and disinfectioni methods areused properly if blood or any other body fluidsspillage ill occurs. 3
4 CLEANING Urguu maternal hospital initiated 2 new bucket methods. Additionally slippery warning sign added and repaired and improved room for tools disinfection. Constantly used: -Cleaning cloth sign -Slippery warning sign Unable to use trolley because of small workplace. Created A/06th manual named Cleaning manual of Head of Mt Maternity hospital on Every department and unit has: Cleaning trolley Floor washing bucket 4 coloured cleaning cloth WASTE MANAGEMENT Nurse and specialized workers transport infectious waste to temporary waste storage area. disinfect wastes from microbiological laboratory by autoclave (121 С) for 50 to 60 minutes. After disinfection waste collected into red bag and transported to temporary waste storage area. Nurse and specialized workers transport infectious waste to temporary waste storage area. Nurse and specialized workers transport infectious waste to temporary wastestoragearea and assistant worker in charge of shipment. Maternity hospitals make contract with Element LLC every year and collection of waste occur daily as indicated on the contract. 4
5 IMMUNIZATION AND INFECTION CONTROL Immunization room for both babies born whether by cesarian or vaginal and to avoid healthcare infection related immunization Created new department for immunization and avoid healthcare infection related immunization 1 immunization department Avoid healthcare infection related immunization MICRIBIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS Has own microbiological laboratory Every unit of it has sample transportation bag Started using transportation and culture media such as peptone water and sabouraud agar which leads improvement of diagnosis Khuree and Amgalan maternity hospitals send microbiological samples to microbiological laboratory of National Center of Communicable Disease (NCCD) and environmental samples to reference laboratory of General Agency for Specialized Inspection (GASI) as signed on contract. Samples transportation is conducted as described in A/93th order of Minister of Health on Oct 21, 2016, Samples transportation guidelines. 5
6 IN 2016, HEALTH CARE RELATED INFECTIONS Urguu maternity hospital Khuree maternity hospital Amgalan maternity hospital There was no case reported CONCLUSION Khuree and Amgalan maternity hospitals have no steam disinfectant chamber. use traditional method of cleaning. an immunization room for born babies. do not have microbiological laboratory, therefore samples analyzed in laboratories of NCCD and GASI. Khuree maternity hospital has no ethanol gas disinfectant. Urguu maternity hospital has more advanced tools for hygiene and infection control than Khuree and Amgalan maternity hospitals. 6
