1 Ieso Digital Health Clinical Affiliate Recruitment Pack Thank you for your interest in becoming an Ieso Digital Health Clinical Affiliate. We provide CBT, online using written communication. This is a new, exciting and highly effective way of widening access to CBT. We provide therapists who are new to our service with ongoing support, training and supervision. We care about providing high quality care to our patients and we also care about our therapists. We welcome applications from therapists who are good at managing their caseload and are comfortable with providing the best possible care online. Before applying, please ensure that you are aware that all Ieso Digital Health therapy is provided via written communication, we do not use Skype, web conferencing tools or phones to deliver therapy. Therapists will therefore need access to their own computer and will be expected to maintain frequent communication with their Ieso Digital Health clinical supervisor and patients. You will be paid an hour Please familiarise yourself with the Ieso Digital Health website and ensure that you read this document thoroughly before continuing your application. In order to become an Ieso Digital Health Clinical Affiliate you will need: BABCP accreditation (full or provisional) An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) 2 professional references, one current Clinical Supervisor and one current manager Professional indemnity insurance (minimum coverage 1 million) 1

2 The Recruitment Process Complete application form (below) and to along with a copy of your DBS certificate and insurance policy. Our recruitment team will get in touch to discuss your application. We will check that you are accredited with the BABCP and request references. When we have received all of the above documents, we will send you a contract to sign and return, ask you when you are available to provide online therapy and invite you to complete an online induction. You must start seeing patients within 2 weeks of completing your induction. You will be assigned 3 patients initially. 2

If you do not have a copy of your last DBS certificate we can help you apply for one. You will need to pay for this and provide us with the information that the DBS require to complete your checks. Will I be classed as self-employed? Yes What will my schedule be like? When you complete the induction, you will be sent an availability questionnaire. This informs us as to when you are free to provide therapy. How many patients do I see per week? When you complete the availability questionnaire, there is a section to input how many patients per week you would like to see. The minimum number of patients is 3. What does my professional indemnity insurance need to cover me for? 1 million + Am I ready to attend induction? ONLY if you have returned a contract will you be invited to attend an induction. If you attend an induction and cannot start seeing patients within 2 weeks of the induction date, you may be asked to complete the induction again. 3

5 CYP Experience Have you ever received specific training to enable you to work in children and young people s mental health services? Please include the name of the course. Do you have experience working in a CPY IAPT / CAMHS service? If so, which disorders did you treat and can you name the protocols that you are familiar with? Employment history (relevant only, last 3 years minimum) Can you provide therapy in other languages other than English? Do you have any criminal convictions? Have you ever been subject of a disciplinary hearing from your professional body? 3. DBS If you do not have a copy of your last DBS check would you like Ieso Digital Health to help you apply for a new one?
