You ll find this an invaluable asset for trainers who are just starting out as you are able to hear from seasoned trainers as to what works well and what doesn t. This is exclusive to Wisconsin Caregiver Academy trainers! The Train-the-Trainer courses have been developed and approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Bureau of Assisted Living and the Division of Quality Assurance, to offer an option for individuals without the required background to seek approval as Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRF) instructors. These courses provide participants with the program knowledge, training skills and curriculum to offer high-quality trainings within their own organizations. For Medication Administration, Standard Precautions and Fire Safety, the same required adult education component is offered for all participants at the same time, enabling participants to take all three programs. This portion of the course is offered on the third day of training from 8-11:30 a.m. and is included in the registration of the listed courses. For First Aid and Choking, there is no separate adult education class. The adult education component is taught throughout the course. Ways to Save on State-Approved Train-the-Trainer Courses One person can take all listed Train-the-Trainer courses or an organization/agency may send up to four people to attend each individual course and receive the same savings.
