2 W elcome to Seacroft Green Care Centre, our brand new, luxury, state of the art addition to the exceptional Seacroft Grange Care Village, where the highest levels of personalised care are standard and we aim to exceed expectations across all areas of nursing and residential care. A NOTE FROM SPRINGFIELD H E A LT H C A R E GROUP CEO, GRAEME LEE. Springfield Healthcare began in 1968 with a family run care home in Garforth, West Yorkshire. We ve been growing ever since but our core values have remained constant, the most important of these being that caring for our clients is at the very heart of everything that we do. We take pride in what we deliver to our customers and employ a dedicated, highly experienced team of people who never hesitate to go the extra mile. Seacroft Green will deliver an additional 75 nursing, intermediate care and residential beds to the local community. Intermediate care beds will be used for helping people bridge the gap between hospital and home. This is an increasingly vital service and one which we are proud to be able to deliver alongside long term residential care for those living with dementia, disability or more simple needs. Each floor has its own identity with generous day space and kitchen to ensure comfort and functionality combine seamlessly. Our facilities include infrared sensors within the nurse call system, ceiling track hoists and ensuite wet rooms. NUR SI N G CA R E & CA R E PR ACTI TI O N E R S Fully qualified nursing staff lead the teams and are on hand 24 hours per day to provide care and support for people who need nursing care. Nursing support is available throughout the care village ensuring people have access to specialist care in a more homely residential environment. Student nurses join our teams as part of their training. R E SPI TE Caring for a loved one is one of the most difficult and challenging aspects of family life. We offer a solution in the form of respite care, giving families the opportunity to try our village and have a much-needed rest. The local community are also able to access these facilities by arrangement. 5 AT T H E H E A R T O F T H E LO C A L CO M M U N I T Y The historic village of Seacroft was chosen as a location for our care village because it provided great access to local amenities as well as being directly opposite the Village Green with its very own cricket pitch. MEDICAL CENTRE The Green Medical Centre is located next door to Seacroft Green on the York Road. The practice has disabled access, parking and provides the full range of general medical services and has a special interest in a variety of medicine and health management spheres. SHOPPING & ACTIVITIES The area offers a number of activities suited to all age groups. The Cricketers Arms, which is adjacent to the Care Village overlooks the Village Green which hosts two annual galas organised by the Seacroft Residents Association. Seacroft Green is also within easy walking distance of the local church and shopping centre which has a large Tesco extra and a variety of other shops and services including the library, post office, pharmacy, opticians, bank and café. SHARED FACILITIES Next door, at Seacroft Grange Care Village, Seacroft Green Care Centre residents have full access to such facilities including the Bistro and Cinema Room. TRANSPORT The main transport interchange is next to the Shopping Centre in Seacroft. The bus station offers a regular service to Leeds, Wetherby, Harrogate and surrounding areas.
