2 Course description The 2015 Swanman Perinatal Conference will present two days of lectures and discussions on current perinatal topics. This conference is the 38th annual meeting, held in honor of the first nursing director at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Miss Alice Swanman. This conference features nationally recognized speakers, known for both their expertise in clinical management and their contributions to perinatal knowledge. Target audience Staff nurses, clinical specialists, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurse managers, educators, case managers and anyone else involved in the care of mothers and their newborns. Learning objectives Promote evidence-based practice in the care of the perinatal/ neonatal population. Discuss nursing management strategies to maximize maternal and neonatal outcomes and quality of patient care. Discuss emerging issues in perinatal and neonatal care. Location Multnomah Athletic Club (for directions, visit S.W. Salmon St. Portland, OR Continuing Education credit Legacy Women s Services is a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider No. CEP8749, for six credits each day.
