Session Summary Practice competency for nurse practitioners is being discussed frequently in the current literature. This presentation will discuss practical tips for helping to make practice competency a reality in your practice. Session Objectives Upon completion of this presentation, the participant will: understand the value of simulation to practicing clinicians; understand the skills that simulation may be helpful for building and/or maintaining; describe one way to construct an air leak evacuation trainer.
