2 purpose There is increased awareness that the optimal treatment of pediatric patients with chronic gastrointestinal conditions requires a multidisciplinary approach involving not only medical specialists, but also nurse practitioners, nutritionists, social workers, and psychologists. The pediatric practitioner also has a vital role in improving the health of patients with these conditions. Our goal is to provide pediatric practitioners with the most up-to-date information in the clinical, multidisciplinary care of pediatric patients with feeding difficulties, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. Our faculty is composed of expert pediatric specialists from Penn State Hershey Children s Hospital, including physicians, nurse practitioners, a psychologist, and a nutritionist.
