For this winter s meeting, we are delighted to be gathering in the capital city of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg - a small country of great attractions at the very heart of Europe. We hope you will be able to join us for what is sure to be a rewarding and dynamic experience, as your perspectives and contributions add immeasurable value to this international symposium. This scientific meeting is designed to provide medical oncologists, infectious disease specialists, and other interested healthcare professionals with the most salient aspects of the etiology, diagnosis, and state-of-the-art management of febrile neutropenia. Topics are selected each year from recent developments in the field, current controversies and complicated cases. The highly interactive format includes 4 sessions; each comprised of a state of the art presentationlecture, followed by a cutting-edge research presentations relating to the topic, a case discussion focusing on the practical application of the topic, and a summary. There is always opportunity for extensive discussion of the presented data. We will again be accepting abstracts for both oral and poster presentations and encourage you to submit your work by the 15 December deadline. We look forward to reviewing and sharing your research findings with the community.
