3 Spring 2014 Conference Dates March 10: Rock Eagle 4-h Center, Eatonton, GA March 24: Fortson 4-H Center, Hampton, GA March 25: Tifton Conference Center, Tifton, GA March 28: Coastal Georgia Botanical Garden, Savannah, GA Conference Preparation You will need to turn in a signed Code of Conduct for each student participating. They must be signed by a parent/guardian. These are available at as well as in the teacher resource packet. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M., please be sure to arrive in time to get your group registered and pick up needed materials. You will be outside for a portion of this event. Please encourage your students to dress casually and comfortably. Close-toed shoes are highly recommended as there will be some running around, walking between workshop locations, and activities that require students to sit on the ground. Please check the weather and have students dress appropriately. Children will need to bring something to write with and may bring a notebook/paper if they like. All other materials will be provided. You may also bring cameras if you would like. During registration, blank certificates will be handed out. You can fill these out and distribute them to your students as you see fit. In order to maintain small class sizes, we may have to split up large groups. We will make every effort to avoid splitting up your group in such a way that there is not an adult from your group with your kids, but it may be unavoidable. In this case, we ll be sure to keep your groups in adjoining classrooms so that they won t be far from you.
