3 THE INTER-PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION BUILDING WILL PROVIDE UNRIVALED OPPORTUNITIES FOR COLLABORATION AMONG HEALTH CARE PIONEERS FROM ACROSS JOHNS HOPKINS. A BUILDING AND ALL THAT IT ENABLES Our ambitious vision for future begins at a pinnacle success. Tremendous dem from students eager to work with our educators researchers has more than doubled enrollment since our current School Nursing facility lmark Anne M. Pinkard Building opened at maximum capacity in 998. To achieve advances in nursing education research to which we are committed, we must create a facility in which our faculty, students, many partners can work. With support generous donors, we seek to construct a Inter-Pressional Education Building that will nearly double our physical space, fer breathing room for our Areas Excellence, provide unrivaled opportunities for collaboration among health care pioneers from across Johns Hopkins. Priorities for IPE Building include: State---art information technology will include recording studios for producing distance education modules smart classrooms. EXPAND SIMULATION TRAINING FACILITIES LAUNCH AND EXPAND FOR BSN AND MSN STUDENTS ACADEMIC PROGRAMS Hs-on simulation training provides critical, risk-free practice complements real-world clinical experiences. Nursing medical students will train toger in labs that feature patientsimulator manikins settings that replicate a disaster situation or a typical home. Exping PhD program will bring needed leadership to both clinical academic settings.
