Novel Oral Anticoagulants and Reversal Agents TJ Smith, NR EMT-P EMS Training Officer City of Henderson Fire Department 9:00am - 9:45am Novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs) are increasingly used in clinical practice, but lack of commercially available reversal agents is a major barrier for mainstream use of these therapies. Reviewing pharmacokinetic data may help health care providers determine a safe time from last dose to perform a procedure or give a fibrinolytic medication for an ischemic stroke. Ragini S.
