General practitioners are the primary health care providers of this form of contraception in the Irish setting. In response to feedback from general practitioners providing this service, the ICGP Women s Health Programme intends to facilitate a series of updated LARC workshops around the country over the forthcoming year. LARC TUTOR ( ) GP trainers and GPs working in training practices and family planning clinics can become a recognised ICGP LARC tutor by attending an ICGP LARC tutor course.
