8 Definition of quality Origin: Latin quālitās of what sort 1 = the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something 1 Informal: quality = good quality Individual judgment of quality depends on various aspects, e.g. experience, education, environment 1

Describes the present situation, identifies room for improvement and establishes inter-departmental communication structures» 2.
