4 Class Year: 202 Online Angel Course (MSUCOM) I experienced technical problems accessing the web-based content. % 9 % 2 % 2 3% 2 3% The online modules for this course that is available in Angel helped me gain medical knowledge. 2 3% 2 3% 0 3% 2 3% Overall Assessment This rotation offered a positive learning experience and stimulated my interest in this specialty of medicine. 5 Botsford Gen Hosp Caseload and Management of Patients Section Comments 202 Lots of opportunities and receptive environment both residents and attendings Excellent amount of patient diversity and hands on experience Resources Section Comments Although I wish I would have use these much earlier. It is my fault to assume I could replace them by reading my own material. Overall Summary Please complete the following sentence: The most beneficial experiences, classes, assignments, or activities in all my On Campus MSUCOM courses/experiences, which facilitated my performance on this clerkship rotation, were: Cardiology, Respiratory, and Physiology Hands on learning during respiratory Respiratory class and the simulated patient experiences at MSU Respiratory and cardiology classes including ACLS Respiratory systems course. ER Campus Course Respiratory medicine course 2nd year was very helpful for this rotation. Cardio, Respiratory, Dermatology, GI I believe suture clinic may have been the most beneficial for procedures and our respiratory course helped with some of the knowledge we needed. The respiratory course of second year was beneficial; also the knowledge I have attained in my past rotations. Pulmonary Clinical Skills Please complete the following sentence: This rotation could have been improved by offering an online module on the following: Class during first and 2nd year that are more hands on Not sure Central line. 6 Please complete the following sentence: The thing(s) I liked most about this rotation was (were): Diversity of patients and procedures The staff, attendings, residents, and RN's The freedom to do procedures So many residents and attendings are nice and include student in patient care and give feedback as needed on the spot. Independence of seeing patient and come up with plan to discuss made the rotation much fun and interesting, not to mention good learning opportunities. all the procedures I was able to do. The amount of responsibility that is given if you are willing to take on the more challenging cases. The diversity of attending physicians and their willingness to teach me. I felt very welcome and supported by all staff members. Always busy, lots of hand on experience, was definitely challenged to give a differential and assist with the treatment. All physicians allowed us to see the patients I wanted, asked for my opinion, and in many cases I was able to explain things to the patients which enhanced my learning. the procedure aspect of EM (e.g. suturing a laceration, placing a splint, putting in peripheral IV's, NG tubes, urine catheter, etc.).
