2 Nordic cooperation Nordic co-operation is one of the oldest and most comprehensive regional partnerships in the world Based on common history and values. And the will to generate dynamic development The room for Nordic cooperation lies between the national and the global... 2

5 The Nordic Council of Ministers Established in 1971 as the organ of intergovernmental cooperation The prime ministers have overall responsibility for the cooperation We act as the Secretariat for this inter-governmental cooperation. Based in Copenhagen 5

7 The Nordic Council(s) of Ministers Each Council is assisted by a Nordic Council of Ministers Committee for Labour (MR-A) of Senior Nordic Council of Ministers Officials. for Business, These are Energy national & Regional Policy (MR-NER) government officials who are Council of Ministers for charged Fisheries with and preparing Aquaculture, and Agriculture, Food and Forestry (MR-FJLS) following up on issues.
