14 DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCEDURE OFFICE 1. Communication from FHCU to DDGFH and the Health Authority of the Autonomous Community 2. Designate the Team Leader 3. Request for the filling of the Health Part of the Aircraft General Declaration and other information 4. Recommend to the Airport emergency Management centre the preventive measures to be applied on the aircraft 5. Jointly designed strategy to follow (acting staff, meeting point, passenger list, cases and contacts, equipment) in coordination with the airport PMP. AIRPORT 1. Request the positioning of the aircraft in an isolated place 2. Collect the neccesary equipment 3. Arrive to the meeting point to go to the aircraft AIRCRAFT 1. Place the PPE and go to the plane 2. Demand the Health Part of the Aircraft General Declaration 3. Examin the affected people in order to confimr or not the suspected public health risk: IF NOT CONFIRMED: Continuation of the trip. Head of FHT communicates with Head of FHCU IF CONFIRMED: Communications Fill in data collector card from the affected people Disembark the affected person if she/he is near an exit. Transfer to a Healthcare Centre Sanitary control of passengers and crew: Data collector card Health counselling card and surveillance recommendations Identify contacts 4. Removal and disposal of PPE. Hand wash 5.Final Communications and report.

17 MINISTERIO DE SANIDAD, POLÍTICA SOCIAL E IGUALDAD DIRECCIÓN GENERAL DE SALUD PÚBLICA Y SANIDAD EXTERIOR SUBDIRECCIÓN GENERAL DE SANIDAD EXTERIOR Annex 1 RECOMMENDED PROCEDURES FOR CABIN CREW MEMBERS IN CASE OF DETECTING A POSSIBLE COMMUNICABLE DISEASE ON BOARD Relocate the ill traveller to a more isolated area, separated from the rest of the passengers, and restrict his/her movements in the plane as much as possible. Designate a specific lavatory for the exclusive use of the ill traveller. Designate one cabin crewmember to look after the ill traveller. He/she should wear gloves, mask and disposable gown (if possible). Store soiled items used in a biohazard bag if one is available. If not, use a sealed plastic bag. Ask accompanying travellers if they have any similar symptoms.
