2 Legislative Directors: Hannah Osuna Chloe Roach Community Health Directors: Shivani Kaneria Monica O Neill Thank You Cohort Reps Resolutions Health Screening Thank You Breast Exam 10/12 -Looks great on resumes, you get a certificate for your portfolio, and you will get cord points! Thank you to everyone who applied to be a Cohort Representative! Newly selected representatives will be announced at our next meeting! Resolutions: -Resolutions help increase awareness and/or create change in legislation, and when adopted by CNSA they become the basis of policies, priorities and actions of CNSA. -Resolutions are position papers that address pertinent issues which direct the priorities of the organization in which it was passed. -Anyone can write a resolution (member, BOD, committee) -At National Convention in Texas this spring we want to present a resolution that we are passionate about and want to see implemented, so we are looking for volunteers and suggestions -Have your name on a published resolution as an author or coauthor! Thank you SO much to all of the people who volunteered for our Health Screenings last weekend!!! I need one or two more volunteers who would be interested in helping teach self breast exams. -This Wednesday, Oct room 11-12pm

Sign up for CNSA Bonfire 6:30 pm Lab/Med Night 10/17 College of Health and Human Services Council: Making OUR mark on campus! (every other Wed. Council Chambers 3rd floor of the Union- earn a CHHS cord see me there!) -Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - Oct 16th Park (there is a carpool sign up!) -Sign up for the walk under the SDSU CHHS team We have raised $270 of the total $510 raised by CHHS (A big thanks to Sheryl and Karrie Chen!) Want to Work with Seniors or Pregnant and New Moms? -Sign your name in the notebook on the counter if you are interested in the topics discussed, I will send you more details as I find them out. -If want to work with senior population- write name in notebook/ Shivani and she will give you updates -Work with moms with baby blues- write name in notebook / Shivani Can sign up today with me after the meeting October 6:30- Bonfire -Members will be able to receive 1 cord point for bringing a smores item (chocolate, graham crackers, marshmallows) Lab/Med Night- Monday October 17 from 5-6:30pm in Park Blvd with Professor Concilio -Try to RSVP to me at sdsucnsamm@gmail.com by Friday, Oct. 14 th
