3 Unit Standard Candidate Notes and Instructions Before the assessment: Meet with the assessor who will explain the assessment process Go through the Pre-assessment Checklist with assessor and sign Read through the Unit Standard Make sure you have the equipment to complete the tasks Read through the Equipment Checklist and Storage Guide During the assessment: Be on time as arranged Answer questions as required Ensure safety of area to be cleaned Choose correct cleaning agent to do the task Check safety of equipment as requested by assessor Wear correct protective clothing Explain method of dilution of cleaning agent Use equipment and cleaning agents in accordance with manufacturer's instructions Carry out required tasks in accordance with the relevant Outcomes of the Unit Standard Complete the task to industry acceptable standard Dispose of soiled cleaning solution Clean and store equipment After the assessment: Receive feedback from Assessor Sign any forms as needed Trainee assessment issue 2.1 Published Jan

Range: scrubbing machine, scouring pad, scrubbing pad, wringer bucket, mops, dispenser, squeegee, wet vacuum cleaner, transformer or Residual Current Device (RCD).
