CHARGES 1.1 Because Rowcroft passionately believes that good education leads to good care, we subsidise as many courses as possible. This is substantially helped by a grant from South Devon & Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group, which enables us to provide free fully-funded or heavily subsidised places for healthcare professionals from the South Devon & Torbay locality. 1.2 We also welcome applications for the funded workshops from delegates from other localities and from private nursing agencies, but there will be a charge of 40 per person per short course and 75 per person per study day, as our grant does not cover these places. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS 2.1 Should you wish to cancel your booking (we cannot accept cancellations via telephone except as a courtesy call) please do so by to education@rowcroft-hospice.org.uk within 3 working days prior to the course date. A change of delegate s name will be accepted at any time with no cost incurred. 2.2 Refunds: Where a delegate does not attend a course without cancelling in advance, the charges are always non-refundable. 2.3 Late cancellation (within 3 working days) or failure to attend fully-funded courses: A charge of 40 will be made to all delegates who fail to attend or fail to give a minimum 3 working days notice of non-attendance, regardless of circumstances. However, a substitute of your choice will be accepted with no charge incurred. Please note: Delegate s line manager will be responsible for any non-attendance fee incurred unless we receive pre-course notification to the contrary. 2.4 For study days & short courses where charges apply (see course details for specific information): Fees need to be paid in advance of the course date to ensure admittance. Cancellation fees will be charged at 50% of the course fee if the applicant cancels less than 10 working days prior to the course date and up to 3 working days before the course date.
