Approval/ Ratification/Decision Discussion Information THE PAPER IS ALIGNED TO THE DELIVERY OF THE FOLLOWING STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE(S) AND HEALTH AND CARE STANDARD(S): Strategic Objectives: The issues, referenced in the attached paper, have an impact on 1 Information Management, Technology
2 Striving for excellence (delivery) Health and Care Standards: This paper supports Governance, Leadership and Accountability EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Since the latest report on information sharing agreements submitted to the Committee in April 2017, the Information Governance Team have identified a further eight agreements that require consideration, these include: Information Sharing Protocols (ISPs) Data Disclosure Agreements (DDAs) Details of these eight agreements are set out below, all are under consideration or are in : Hearing Loss (PTHB and third sector); Empower/Spirit Health Diabetes Programme (PTHB and third sector); Multi agency public protection arrangement (MAPPA) (Multi agency); School Child Immunisation Programme (multi agency); Palliative Care for patients (PTHB and third sector organisation); Vaccination invitations to school pupils (Powys County Council); Integrated Autism Service (Powys County Council); and Home Educated Children (Powys County Council) The Committee will wish to note that ISP037- Adult Integrated Assessment which has been created to support the regular sharing of personal information between PTHB and Powys Adults Social Care for the purpose of providing integrated assessment, planning and review arrangements for adults who live in Powys was submitted to the Regional Quality Assurance Group in May 2017 for quality assuring and approval. The regional quality assurance group has a responsibility for ensuring ISP s developed under the WASPI framework are of a suitable quality to be published as good examples. Each group has a chair and terms of reference and largely comprise of representatives of large public sector bodies, such as Health Board, Police, Fire and Local Authorities. It was recommended at the Regional Group that further work be undertaken. Once the further work is complete the ISP will be circulated to members of the Regional Quality Assurance Group for quality checking and approval. A central schedule of agreements is maintained by the Information 2 Information Management, Technology
3 Governance Team and this is attached at Appendix 1 for information. The Committee will wish to note that work has commenced on the development of a web based Information Asset Register. This register will help identify information assets and information flows and support compliance with the WASPI. NEXT STEPS: Work on the Asset Register is a priority for the Information Governance Team. Further updates at the next scheduled meeting of the Committee. 3 Information Management, Technology
