1 TENNESSEE PRIMARY CARE ASSOCIATION S STRATEGIC PRIORITIES October 25, 2012 Kathy Wood Dobbins, CEO Mission The Tennessee Primary Care Association improves access to primary health care through leadership, advocacy and support as the voice for community health centers. 1

2 Vision The Tennessee Primary Care Association s vision is this: Every Tennessean will have access to evidence based, patient centered primary health care; The overall health of Tennessee s citizens will improve; Community health centers will play a pivotal role within a transforming health care system; The Tennessee Primary Care Association will contribute to this vision through services that demonstrate excellence and are guided by its mission Strategic Goals Assist CHCs become health care homes Help to develop workforce resources for CHCs Secure funding to grow and sustain CHCs Increase the number of Tennesseans served by a CHC Deliver relevant, accessible training and technical assistance Increase & diversify TPCA funding needed to accomplish goals 2
