1 A locally driven collaborative project (LDCP) Quarterly Update June 2017
2 Overview The use of CQI is relatively new in public health units in Ontario. There are no general standards and everyone is doing it differently. Our 1-year project aimed to understand the current state of CQI in public health and what can be done to support CQI within and across health units. We did 2 things: a survey of staff in participating health units; and a scoping review of the literature. We ll use the results of this project in a future research project to develop resource materials for health units to improve their use of CQI.
3 Project Administration 20 PHUs are on the research project team Project team has regular monthly meetings All health units welcome to participate in meetings according to interest and capacity
4 QI Maturity Tool Survey Individual site reports distributed to the 34 health units that participated in the survey Provincial aggregated report distributed to stakeholders at the end of March Available on the PHO website at ges/cqi.aspx
