1 "INTEGRATING HEALTH COACHING INTO WEIGHT MANAGEMENT IN A WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT" Stefanie Milroy, MPH, CHES Lindsey Arthur, CHWC OBJECTIVES Describe obesity as a chronic health condition and understand risk factors Explore ones own life satisfaction and well life vision Integrate health coaching into current/future weight management programs Explain the effectiveness of individual health coaching on weight loss HEALTHYUNCG Employee wellness program University of NC at Greensboro Initiative that began in August 2008 in response to state mandate. Mission: To provide UNCG employees with information, programs, and services that help to promote a healthier lifestyle and a better quality of life. Areas of focus include: Healthy Eating Stress Management Physical Activity Tobacco Cessation 1
