1 Regional Stewardship & Community Development Definition of Regional Stewardship and Community Development: The W defines regional stewardship as engaging the community with campus and maximizing partnerships to promote economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and healthy lifestyles. Mission: Coordinate, focus, and publicize stewardship efforts, expanding where gaps are identified and resources are available. Efforts will draw on existing programs and strengths of The W as well as identified needs of the region. Goal Areas: 1. Community Engagement 2. Economic Development & Employment 3. Education 4.
