The Practical Nurse must understand the pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and the appropriate nursing interventions to plan and deliver care for clients. Program Information: This course is one of 4 courses offered in the third semester of the Access to Practical Nursing program. Satisfactory completion of each of these courses must be achieved in order to progress to the acute care practicum APNP 130. Note: Students must achieve an overall grade of 65% to complete the course and progress into the Acute Care Practicum APNP 130. No rewrites are allowed for any of the evaluations. EXAM POLICY Students must attend all required scheduled exams that make up a final grade at the appointed time and place. Individual instructors may accommodate for illness or personal crisis. Additional accommodation will not be made unless a written request is sent to and approved by the appropriate Department Head prior to the scheduled exam.
