The multi disciplinary functions require higher order co-ordination in managing treatment, maintenance of hygiene, inventory, supply and records. This needs facilities for management of dynamic data. Large hospitals while preparing project proposal incorporate this aspect. Nursing homes of small and medium size normally do not think about Management Information System for their day to day operation. This leads to delay in decision making, maintaining records and reports at various stages. Absence of decision support tools renders routine practices costly. Procurement of large number of materials, engagement of doctors, paramedical services and maintenance no more remain cost effective. The net effect is reflected in dissatisfaction of clients/patients, doctors, suppliers and internal staff of the organization. It is wrongly believed that MIS system for Nursing home is costly, need high & costly professional services and elaborate arrangement. In reality it is possible to custom design MIS system which can be operated by just computer literate persons not requiring capital intensive elaborate arrangement. MIS system helps in fast decision making, maintaining dynamic database for generating any kind reports, bills and decision making for routine maintenance functions at fingure tip. A simple but effective computer program called H.M.S package can address this problem. It avoids hassles, substantially reduces wastage there by improving profitability at various operational levels that will be reflected in the balance sheet. Package details This package covers all most all the necessary points/records regarding hospital and its management system. The package can be modified as per need of schools. The purpose is to make more transparency between doctor and patient. It is a complete ERP (Enterprise Resource Planner) System for Hospitals. The package can be implemented in three ways. It is GUI (Graphic User Interface) user friendly application. It is fully password protected only administrator can change the necessary details & password.

Network Base (complete ERP) This covers all the features with networking i.e. more than one computer. The program/application will be distributed according to department wise, each department can maintain individual records but all data will be stored at one place (i.e. server). Complete information of patients can be retrieved by doctor or the key person at one location on a fingure tip. 3.
