Our flagship Doctors Community Hospital was founded in 1975 by a team of physicians who were committed to improving local access to quality medical and surgical care. 16 Sleep Care We are the only program in Prince George s County accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Our team provides care for people who have sleep apnea, narcolepsy, periodic limb movement disorder and restless leg syndrome. As a healthcare leader, we were the first hospital in Prince George s County to offer minimally invasive bariatric surgery using the da Vinci robot-assisted surgical system. Also, board-certified physicians who specialize in emergency medicine are available via advanced telemedicine technology. This two-way communications tool helps us accurately diagnose and effectively treat various conditions.
