Transcription
1 Several formats of the Physician s Orders report are available in SigmaCare. Preconfigured filter options are available for the more commonly run reports and preconfigured reports are also available. This preconfiguration is designed to make it easier to run the reports. This document outlines the general steps for running these reports. Generating Physician s Orders Reports.. Page 1 Report Formats vs. Preconfigured Reports... Click on the desired preconfigured Physician s Orders report. Discharge scripts: Report on the discharge scripts written, provided in a pdf format. Discharge scripts (CSV): Report on the discharge scripts written, provided in a CSV format. DUR Compliance Detail: Reports DUR compliance information by physician in detail format. 2 SigmaCare Job Aid Physician Order Form: Use this report for proof of signature or to capture signatures for orders created over a given date range. Complete details like SIG, order entered by, monitoring ordered, etc., associated with the order will be also displayed. Physician Order Form Large Font: Same information as above in a large font for improved legibility. Physician s Orders Change Order: Use this report to view a list of change orders entered within a given date range. Physician s Orders Chart: Use this report to print out a list of orders for a resident that are currently active or active as of a point. Medication orders will display in the left column and non-medication orders in the right column. Physician s Orders Detail: Use this report to view a list of current active orders or orders entered within a date range. Physician s Orders For Renewal Sign-off off: Use this report to generate current orders for paper signoff. Physician s Orders Gatekeeper/Restricted Medication: Use this report to list any restricted medications that were ordered and the Gatekeeper s action. Physician s Orders Prescription Medications Containing >325 mg Acetaminophen: Reports orders with medications that contained more than 325mg of acetaminophen per dose. Ensure that the Prescription Medications Containing >325mg Acetaminophen Only? checkbox is unchecked when searching for Over the Counter medications. Physician s Orders Split for Physician Sign-off off: Use this report to generate physician's orders entered within a date range with single signoff (one order) per page. Physician s Orders Summary: Use this report to get a count of physician orders entered at your facility. This count can be broken down by: Order Type, Number of Orders, and Percentage of total orders. Physician s Orders Therapeutic Interchange: Report on orders that resulted in therapeutic interchange activity within the specified date range. Step 4. Filter the report as needed. Step 4a. Click + to the left of a section to add more detailed filter criteria, such as Order Selection (i.e. type, status, diagnosis or description), Medication Selection (i.e. therapeutic class, scheduled medication, restricted medications), User/Physician Selection (i.e. who placed the order, who approved the order) and DUR Selection (i.e. type, acknowledgement reason or severity). Orders are listed by resident name, under a resident header, in one continuous list with no page breaks. 10 Physician s Orders Gatekeeper/ Restricted Medication: Use this report to list any restricted medications that were ordered and the Gatekeeper s action. One row for each order transaction (e.g.: once when the medication is ordered, and once for when it is approved or rejected - so each order is listed multiple times) displayed as a continuous list with no page breaks. 12 Physician s Orders Summary: Use this report to get a count of physician orders entered at your facility. This count can be broken down by: Order Type, Number of Orders, and Percentage of total orders. One row for each facility with facility total counts. One row for each unit with unit total counts. The original order can be compared to the interchanged order by using this report.
