2 Learner Outcome: DNP Faculty members will appraise methods of enhancing DNP projects, student preparation for advanced practice and optimizing practice partnerships Objectives 1. Describe the guidance needed for student development of value added quality DNP projects for healthcare systems 2. Analyze approaches for guiding DNP students with in evidence-based practice 3. Propose essential steps for creating and sustaining practice partnerships for DNP education Individual Rate $ Registration Group Rate (5+) $ per person Click HERE to register online Registration fee includes attending the conference, lite breakfast, boxed lunch, continuing nursing education contact hours, and access to conference materials. Materials will be provided online. Refund/ Cancellation Policy A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be issued for all cancellations received or postmarked at least one week prior to the course date. No refunds are issued thereafter. Cancellations received the day of the course are not eligible for a refund. UK College of Nursing Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel a course when circumstances are warranted. In such a case, a full refund will be issued. 5 Invited Speakers Marita G. Titler, PhD, RN, FAAN Dr. Titler is an internationally recognized leader in evidence-based practice. Dr. Titler s scholarship is in health services research with a focus in translation/implementation science, and outcomes effectiveness research with older adults. As a result of her expertise, she has received federal and foundation funding for her research, serves on NIH and AHRQ study sections, and has published over 150 clinical and research articles on outcomes effectiveness, evidence based practice, and translation science. In 2016 she was inducted into to the National Academy of Medicine. She is the founder and director of the National Nursing Practice Network, a collaborative network of over 100 US and international health systems. Dr. Titler provides educational and consultation services to health systems and national and international communities such as the Hawaii State Center for Nursing, NIH, Veterans Healthcare Administration, Tri-Services Nursing Research, and Singapore Ministry of Health. Bernadette Melnyk, PhD, RN, CPN/PMHNP, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk recognized nationally and globally for both her clinical knowledge and her innovative approaches to a wide range of health care challenges serves as Vice President for Health Promotion, University Chief Wellness Officer, and Professor and Dean of the College of Nursing at The Ohio State University. She also is a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at Ohio State s College of Medicine. Dr. Melnyk s groundbreaking work spans evidence-based practice, intervention research, child and adolescent mental health, and health and wellness. A frequent keynote speaker at national and international conferences, she has consulted with hundreds of healthcare systems and colleges worldwide on improving quality of care and patient outcomes by implementing and sustaining evidence-based practice.
