Physician Assistants, CRNAs, and Auditors (ATLS) ATLS Renewals Physician Assistants, CRNAs, ARNPs and Auditors completing the course will be awarded a Certificate of Completion, consistent with the number of hours attended. Important Information Regarding Your ATLS Provider Status: Provider status is valid for 4 years from the course date. To maintain a current status in the ACS ATLS Program, providers are encouraged to reverify their status every 4 years by participating in a Student Refresher course. A six-month grace period is allowed after the expiration date to take a Student Refresher course. If providers have not completed the process within this time frame, they will need to take the Student Course again in its entirety. Fees: $ per learner. Registration includes course content, simulations, breakfast and lunch, the ATLS book, and certification of completion. Per these updated standards, it is mandatory that both the program committee and speakers complete disclosures. Members of the program committee were required to disclose all financial relationships and speakers were required to disclose any financial relationship as it pertains to the content of the presentations. The ACCME defines a commercial interest as any proprietary entity producing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on patients. It does not consider providers of clinical service directly to patients to be commercial interests. The ACCME considers relevant financial relationships as financial transactions (in any amount) that may create a conflict of interest and occur within the 12 months preceding the time that the individual is being asked to assume a role controlling content of the educational activity. The updated standards also require that ACS manage any reported conflict and eliminate the potential for bias during the session. However, if you perceive a bias during a session, please advise us of the circumstances on the session evaluation form.
