3 History of NAMSS 1970 s NAMSS was first formed in California in 1971 The first national conference was held in 1977 The certification process was initiated in 1978

10 What Does NAMSS Do for MSPs? Serves as the voice of the profession, advocating on behalf of MSPs across the nation. Provides essential education and professional development opportunities. Informs and connects a network of medical staff and credentialing services professionals. Supports state affiliates and associations on the local level.
